As part of ongoing capacity building, the management and audit team leaders of the Office of the Auditor-General participated in a communications skills workshop to enhance communications standards and practices in the OAGS.

During the one-day workshop, participants gained a thematic understanding and overview of the basic communication tools and methods, and the different policies and strategies that the SAI will implement in its relations with key stakeholders.

The Auditor General of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Mohamoud Ali, has recently signed the OAGS Communications Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy that outlines various communication methods and channels to be employed during operations in congestion with the mission vision and core values of the SAI. The documents will serve as the bedrock of strategic communication both inside and outside of the organization.
