These audits have been conducted in accordance with the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs). The primary objective of these audits is to improve the service delivery processes of government institutions and to enhance the trust of citizens and the international community in the overall financial management of Somalia.

The Auditor General emphasized that these efforts aim to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of public resources, thereby fostering better governance and public confidence in government operations.
