We are delighted to present the Strategic Plans for the Office of the Auditor General of Somalia. The Office initiated its inaugural Strategic Plan, covering the period 2017-2020. Subsequently, we released an extended Strategic Plan for 2021-2022. Currently, the Office is actively implementing the Strategic Plan for the duration of 2023-2027.

As custodians of transparency, accountability, and good governance, our strategic focus is dedicated to reinforcing effective audit practices within the Somali context, promoting financial integrity, and contributing to the overall development of Somalia.
The current Strategic Plan outlines 11 strategic outputs and 7 unique goals that the Office aims to achieve within the five-year strategic plan period.

These plans were meticulously developed and realized in close collaboration with key stakeholders, involving a comprehensive Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis. With a committed emphasis on enhancing our capabilities, embracing innovation, fostering collaboration, and making a tangible difference, we strive to lead positive change within the Public Financial Management landscape.
