The Auditor General of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Mohamud Ali, has chaired a virtual Semi-Annual Meeting that brought together Development and Peer Partners to harmonize collaboration and facilitate support for the Office of the Auditor General of Somalia (OAGS).
The high-level meeting included presentations on OAGS’ Performance Report 2020, Extended Strategic Plan 2021-2022, and Peer-Support Projects currently under implementation.
Auditor General Mohamed Ali highlighted the significant strides that the OAGS has taken over the past three years to realize the goals under the legacy Strategic Plan 2017-2022 that has come to an end. He also thanked the Development and Peer Partners alike for their steadfast support to the OAGS during this critical time. “SAI Somalia deeply values its cooperation with the Partners and is committed to promoting accountability and good governance in Somalia,’’ he said.
On their part, the Partners complimented the achievements of the Office under the current Strategic Plan while also reassuring their continued support to enable the OAGS in implementing the new Extended Strategic Plan 2021-2022.
