Nairobi, Kenya, 6-8 July, 2026: Nearly 20 senior officials from the Office of the Auditor General of the Federal Government of Somalia have completed a three-day workshop on Corruption Risk Assessment and Mitigation in Nairobi, Kenya.
The workshop formed part of the Office’s ongoing efforts to strengthen integrity, accountability, transparency, and corruption prevention. It followed an earlier session held in Mogadishu from 30 March to 1 April 2026 and supported the Office’s work to strengthen corruption risk management.
Over the three days, participants discussed corruption risks, their causes, and practical measures to address them within the institution.
The workshop was held with technical support from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. The Office led the programme in line with its mandate, and it appreciates UNODC for its support and thanks all participants for their active engagement.
As always, the Office remains committed to strengthening institutional integrity, promoting good governance, and enhancing public confidence.
